STREET COURTS ARE ON DUTY...

Today when I was reading newspaper I have read news about Mashal Khan, the student (of Mass Communication department) lynching in Wali Khan University in Mardan. What I have read about him yet and the news that are spreaded all over the media seems like that the murderer even don’t have proof about his blasphemous act or words and it also seems like it was a planned murder.

Mashal Khan student of Wali Khan University-Mass Comm. Department

A mob killed the student brutally- they naked him, beat him till he didn’t die and even after when his death occurred they keep kicking  and keep throwing bottles and stones at him, can be seen in video clearly. Link.

According to them he was a blasphemer and was also running a blasphemous page on Facebook. According to them he keep spreading blasphemous content there.
During the initial investigation police haven’t found any blasphemous content on his account and remark that it seems like they killed him on doubt or it is a planned murder. 59 plus people are arrested and are under investigation on case. Wali Khan University will remain close untill the case will be solve.
I am neither in favor nor in against of the student Mashal Khan, but definitely I am against the brutal and unhuman act people have shown there. Our society is going towards where we have smart phones not to use them when needed for help but to make videos of victims. No investigations, no arrestments direct lynching and murders are not justice. It is a shameful moment for our society that people who are also commuting crimes are punishing others in their street courts.
There are police, FIA, CTD, Rangers, Army, Courts but people still are that frustrated and impatient that they take their decisions themselves, they punish others themselves. If it is their work to do than what are the duties of authorities according to them? Where was the management and authority of University, when it all happened?
Maybe it is true that he is a blasphemer but may be he was not, what if it will be prove during investigation that, he was innocent and not a blasphemer? No answer? Who are you to decide who is a sinner and who is not?  Who are you to decide who it Muslim, who is Mushrik or Kafir
We should trust our security institutions and Courts that they will justify ,because it is far more better than street courts we made ourselves. Our institutions must be that strong that no one can dare to commit such a crime but if they do then, they must investigate it through proper channel and justify. People should have to trust Courts and their justification and should avoid such criminal and brutal act as happened in Mardan.
